The leaves are like small coins, quite hard, look like small green concave hearts with lots of silvery splashes. The flowers smell divine, but I haven't managed to get this hoya to bloom yet. The mother plant grows in a substrate with potting soil and added perlite and charcoal pieces, but it is best to grow it in a substrate as light and calcareous as possible (for example, pumice, lechuza), because then the cuttings start very quickly and continue to grow easily. They require more frequent watering than most other hoyas. The seedlings grow in lechuza in a self-watering system.
